Cannibals in GOP Establishment Employ Tactics of the Left | Facebook

I hate to give blog space to SP: but I am very curious about this one line:
"Those who claim allegiance to Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment ..."
Have they actually anointed Ronald Reagan as their god? Because who other than a god could amend the Christian's 10 commandments?Although, according to Wikipedia, even Ronald set aside this commandment, when he needed to.
Reagan followed this "commandment" during the first five primaries during the 1976 Republican primary against incumbent Gerald Ford, all of which he lost. He abandoned this approach in the North Carolina Primary and beat Ford 52–46, regaining momentum and winning a majority of delegates chosen after that date. Some analysts credit Reagan's attacks as seriously to have weakened Ford in his contest with his general election opponent and eventual successor, Jimmy Carter.[1]

Which seems to be what many Republicans do: preach the commandments, but follow them only when convenient. Maybe that's the true 11th commandment of the GOP: Do whatever it takes to stay in power, and fuck all to the rest of the world.
