How many unwelcome side effects of our race to use ethanol do we need, before we, as a nation, say "Stop"?
Given the push by the big ag companies, probably a lot more than just exploding pig barns.
After all, it's not costing them anything.
I do wonder how long it will be before they find a way to add this

dried distillers grains in soluble
directly to human food products, instead of getting it to us through feed lots.
I found this paragraph especially interesting:
The researchers conduct their studies on commercial farms in Minnesota and surrounding states. Chuck Clanton, a bioproducts and biosystems engineering professor, said the team’s current approach is targeting how different microorganisms — primarily bacteria — developed in the manure pit. They think that a new set of species has formed in these pits in the last few years.
Should be very disturbing to the creationist contingent: new species being formed? How can this be? Is the hand of god at work in the manure pits? Is this his way of telling us he doesn't like factory farms?
