"climate denial is just like climate alarmism, they are both about money and politics. "
I would point him towards this infographic  and post on the Caudal Lure blog.
"Occam’s razor suggests that the more likely explanation for some phenomenon is the explanation which requires the fewest number of assumptions or required assertions. Even though in science the correct answer is sometimes the more complex one, rationally speaking, the fewer amount of assumptions that we have to make in order to get a theory to work, the better."

He's right, climate denial is just like climate alarmism, they are both about money and politics. I realize Suzuki is pointing fingers at the deniers only in his writing, but the same things can be blamed on the alarmists and he knows it. The fact that he was shown on the news last years, walking and talking with Dalton McGuinty during his election campaign shows that Suzuki is buried in politics. And don't try to say that the deniers are better funded than the alarmists, we all know now that climate alarmism is very lucritive, Suzuki's personal wealth demonstrates that. So Suzuki is right, climate denial isn't about science or even skepticism, but he knows alarmism is exactly the same.

Climate science is political science.
