Obama joins in denouncing Rush Limbaugh’s slur of student; his sponsors urged to pull ads - The Washington Post

“Amazingly, when there is the slightest bit of opposition to this new welfare entitlement being created, then all of a sudden we hate women! We want ‘em barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen,” he [Rush] said. “And now, at the end of this week, I am the person that the women of America are to fear the most.”

He just doesn't get it, does he. We don't fear him. We despise him. Despise his petty little mind. Despise his trying to silence us by calling us feminazis or by attacking physical aspects of the speaker instead of the facts. He's the grade school bully, given a radio platform, and still with a coterie of hangers-on. like those that fed the ego of the 10 year old bullies.

Update 3/3/2012:
Mitt Romney, asked for his opinion:

"While campaigning in Ohio for the Republican presidential primary, Mitt Romney was asked about Limbaugh's comments and steered his answer away from the uproar.
"It's not the language I would have used," Romney said after a campaign event in Cleveland. "But I'm focusing on the issues that I think are significant in the country today and that's why I'm here talking about jobs in Ohio.""

"It's not the language I would have used"......exactly what language would he have used? Does Rush still have enough power in the Republican party that Mitt couldn't bring himself to say: "What he said was despicable. It was wrong and despicable to have said such things, regardless of the gender of the person he was talking about".
