The Chief Complaint: Dr. Otis Brawley - Features - Atlanta Magazine

Here is the problem: Poor Americans consume too little healthcare, especially preventive healthcare. Other Americans—often rich Americans—consume too much healthcare, often unwisely, and sometimes to their detriment. The American healthcare system combines famine with gluttony.

But it's not just the healthcare system. We have feast and famine in so many aspects of our lives. In housing, in possessions, in wages. Those that have, get more, and those that haven't, might just get by, if they're lucky; if not, they die.
