BBC News - Vatican leak inquiry: Pope's butler named as suspect

BBC News - Vatican leak inquiry: Pope's butler named as suspect

So, I'm trying to picture the biblical character Jesus, the reputed foundation of this church, with a personal butler, and private apartments.  Hum, can't see it.
Cover-ups of child abuse, criticism of the nuns for 'caring' about the poor, refusing to give their 'blessing' to the very real need for birth control as a means of strengthening the family by allowing parents to plan and care for their children. The head of the church lives in an ivory tower, too far removed from the real life and concerns of it's members. Which is the flaw with most organised religion. A rigid structure that does grow and change with the times. And to those who would argue that a religion should not change, go find yourself another world to live in, one that hasn't advanced. Give up modern medicine, electricity, running water, sewage control, eyeglasses: then tell me how happy and healthy you are.
