No big surprise here. As do so many erstwhile conservatives, Romney wants to have his cake and eat it too.
Or in this case, have no active role in Bain when it comes to distancing himself from their actions, but claim an active role when it comes to paying taxes. No wonder he doesn't want to release more tax returns. The truth might be too big for some of his fan base to swallow. Although, given the half-truths they've already gulped down, he may be underestimating their gullet-a-bility.
