Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation is looking to bid for the Los Angeles Times, the paper has reported, adding Murdoch is also interested in buying its stablemate the Chicago Tribune from their parent company, the Tribune Company.
Rupert Murdoch seeks to expand his control over everything we see, read and hear. And the powers that be will probably continue to change and amend the laws that were supposed to prevent one person or company from gaining that control. Because Murdoch has the money to buy what he wants.
And people will still claim that the media is controlled by liberals. There is very little left in the public media that is not controlled by corporations. Which just might explain why there is so little real news on most of the public media. And why, instead of reporting, we have 'newscasters' reading email and twitter feed responses to the latest diversionary reporting.
