Donald Trump has no regrets when it comes to his so-called Election Day Twitter rant in which he claimed the United States was not a democracy and called the election "a sham and a travesty."
Although 129,088 signatures [on a petition calling for Macy's to dump him] may sound like an impressive number, Trump's number of Twitter followers currently stands at 1,898,411 on Nov. 11, 2012, an even stronger number and a clear sign that plenty of people like the real Donald Trump.
Are Twitter followers always people who like the person they follow? I'm thinking there must be some in that number who just follow because they can't believe what comes out of his mind. Sort of like people who drive slowly past car wrecks or other disasters.
Trump spoke candidly about his messages and referred to himself in the third person, much like Bob Dole. “The fact is that there’s a large group of people who like Donald Trump and what Donald Trump says," Donald Trump said. And the biggest fan of Donald is obviously Donald himself.
