Republican governors got together in Las Vegas last week, to take stock of the election results as they continue to sink in.
The message didn't sink in very far. That, or it was immediately diverted to a storm drain and flushed from their cognitive systems. Because they still don't get it.
According to them, it wasn't that a majority of the voting public rejected their proposals: it was just that the public didn't really hear their message. So they're going to change, not the message, not their ideas, but the way in which they present them to the public. Putting a different wrapping on the same old sorry-ass themes.
