Sam Brownback for Kansas

Sam Brownback for Kansas

his pitch:

Maybe when they get to step 3 he'll correct his grammar.

I know, picky, picky, picky.  But wouldn't you really prefer to elect someone with the sense to hire a good proof reader

I'm a bit curious about this:

Putting? More accurate to say: "We estimate this will put". One does have to wonder: how much of that anticipated tax cut is going to Kansas families, and how much to businesses? And just how big is 'our region'?

Some people think that the tax cuts are not really working out that well:

Forbes magazine says that Kansas is failing at math.

RSN compares the Kansas & California approach to tax cuts.

From the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities:

Which argues that tax cuts have caused revenue losses, deepened the damage to schools and other state service, benefited the wealthy more than the low-income families, and haven't boosted the economy.

And the New York Times opinion pages call them Kansas' Ruinous Tax Cuts

Sam Brownbeck must live in that other Kansas, because his web site paints a completely different, and far rosier picture.  Let's hope the residents of Kansas dig for the truth before voting.
